Our Approach

Art from light are Mike and Laila Underwood, a husband and wife team who specialise in capturing the atmosphere, romance and excitement of your very special day. As articulate storytellers, through a combination of artistic direction and reportage style photography, we will not only capture the natural magic of your dream wedding, we may even create some of our own.

It’s your special day, all about you, and our fashionable, relaxed and fun approach to your photography will provide you with an array of beautiful
images, elegantly presented in a contemporary handmade album.

We love shooting weddings and appreciate exactly how much time, work and attention to detail will be put into your wedding, so we work hard to ensure you will be rewarded with the best possible keepsake, a romantic and fairy tale story told through individual images, a hardback wedding album and a high definition video slideshow.

Getting to know you

Before the big day, we will meet up at one of your favourite locations in the local area for a half day photo shoot which will enable us to get to know each other. You’ll also discover how our relaxed and fun style of photography will enable you to confidently relax in front of the camera on the actual day, knowing how good you look ‘on film’. From this shoot we will produce a 12” X 8” print of your favourite photo, which will be mounted with an extra large border that your guests can sign and leave special messages on your wedding day, as shown in the photo to the left.
